Pod & Coil Compatibility

The Nord 5 marks a shift in the series toward pure sub-ohm performance. It utilizes the RPM 3 coil series, which features an enlarged mesh structure for massive vapor production and rapid heating.

Compatible Pods & Coils (YES):

• SMOK Nord 5 Replacement Pods (CRC): Native compatibility. Only fits RPM 3 coils.
• SMOK RPM 3 Coil Series: Specifically the 0.15 ohm and 0.23 ohm mesh coils.

Incompatible Pods & Coils (NO):

• SMOK Nord / Nord 2 / Nord 4 Pods: These legacy pods will not fit the Nord 5 chassis.
• SMOK RPM 2 Coils: Despite the similar name, RPM 2 coils are physically incompatible with Nord 5 pods.
• Original RPM Coils: Will not fit the Nord 5 pods.

Pro Tip: The Nord 5 features an "Airflow Slider" rather than a dial. Sliding it to the left opens the dual-sided vents for maximum cloud production, while sliding it to the right restricts the air for a warmer, more intense flavor profile. To lock or unlock your wattage, click the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously.

Because the Nord 5 operates at high wattages (up to 80W), the battery can deplete quickly; using a 5V/2A wall adapter is recommended for efficient charging, though the device will safely regulate the intake to its maximum charging speed.
