The TFV18 coil series features a massive chassis designed for high-capacity sub-ohm tanks. Due to naming similarities, it is critical to confirm your exact tank model before purchasing.

Compatible Tanks (YES):

• SMOK TFV18 Sub-Ohm Tank: Native compatibility (found on devices like the SMOK Morph 2 Kit and Arcfox Kit).
• SMOK TFV16 Tank: Fully cross-compatible. TFV18 coils share the exact same threading and base dimensions as the older TFV16 tank series.

Incompatible Tanks (NO):

• SMOK TFV18 Mini Tank: These coils are physically too large. The Mini tank requires V18 Mini coils.
• SMOK TFV9 / TFV8 / TFV12 Series: Completely incompatible architectures.
• SMOK Pod Systems: These are threaded tank coils and will not fit into any plastic pod system (such as the Nord or RPM series).

Pro Tip: A common point of confusion is the TFV18 Mini Tank, which comes with the Fortis or G-Priv 4 kits. If your tank says "TFV18 Mini" on the base, these standard TFV18 coils will not fit.

Available Resistance Options

• 0.33 ohm Meshed Coil (80W - 140W, Best at 100W - 110W): Features a single, large mesh heating surface. Designed for a slightly more concentrated flavor profile while still producing massive cloud volume. Best suited for high-VG freebase e-liquids (0mg - 6mg).
• 0.15 ohm Dual Meshed Coil (80W - 140W, Best at 100W - 110W): Utilizes a dual-mesh chamber design to maximize heat distribution and ramp-up time. Engineered for extreme vapor production and a warmer Direct-to-Lung (DTL) draw.

Usage & Maintenance

To install, unscrew the base of your TFV18 or TFV16 tank, remove the old coil, and tightly thread the new coil directly into the base hardware. Ensure the threads are fully seated to prevent e-liquid from leaking through the bottom airflow slots. Due to the massive amount of cotton used in these coils, they require significantly more time to absorb e-liquid than standard pod coils.

Important: Always let a new coil prime before firing. After installing the new coil and filling the glass tank, let the device sit for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Taking a dry hit on a coil this large will immediately ruin the cotton.
