Hardware Compatibility Cross-Reference

The RPM 4 coil series is a specific iteration in the SMOK lineup. It is crucial to verify your pod type before purchasing, as these are not universally compatible with all "RPM" branded pods or devices.

Compatible Devices (YES):

• SMOK Nord 6 Kit: Only when using the specific Nord 6 Empty Replacement Pod.
• SMOK RPM 4 Kit: Only when using the specific RPM 4 Empty Pod (does not fit the LP2 version of the pod).

Incompatible Devices (NO):

• SMOK Nord 5 / Nord 4: Nord 5 uses RPM 3 coils; Nord 4 uses RPM or RPM 2 coils.
• SMOK RPM 5 / RPM 5 Pro: These devices require RPM 3 coils.
• LP1 & LP2 Pods: These coils will not fit into pods designed for the LP series.
• Original Nord / Novo Series: Completely incompatible architectures.

Available Resistance Options

• 0.15 ohm Meshed Coil: Optimized for Direct-to-Lung (DTL) vaping. Designed to handle higher wattage settings for maximum cloud production and intense flavor. Best suited for standard freebase e-liquids (0mg - 6mg).
• 0.6 ohm Meshed Coil: Calibrated for Restricted Direct-Lung (RDL) vaping. Operates at moderate wattages, providing a cooler draw and slightly tighter airflow. Ideal for standard freebase e-liquids or lower-strength nicotine salts.

Usage & Maintenance

These coils are installed by pressing them firmly into the base of the compatible empty pod. Ensure the flat base of the coil sits completely flush with the bottom of the pod to maintain the internal vacuum seal and prevent leaking into the battery compartment. A drop in vapor production or a burnt taste indicates that the coil has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced.

Important: Always let a new coil prime before firing. After installing the new coil and filling the pod with e-liquid, let the pod sit for 5 to 10 minutes. This ensures the organic cotton is completely saturated and prevents premature burning.
