Hardware Compatibility Cross-Reference

The GTX coil series is Vaporesso's most widely adopted coil platform. However, physical pod sizes and device wattage limits mean not every GTX coil will work in every GTX-compatible device. Please verify your device's maximum wattage before selecting a resistance.

Compatible Devices (YES):

• Luxe XR & Luxe XR Max: Compatible when using the specific GTX Empty Pods (MTL, RDL, or DTL variants).
• Gen PT60 & PT80 S: Fully compatible with the xTank pod.
• Swag PX80: Fully compatible.
• Target PM80 & PM80 SE: Fully compatible.
• GTX GO 80 & GTX GO 40: Fully compatible (Note: GTX GO 40 cannot power the 0.3 ohm or 0.2 ohm coils efficiently).
• Luxe PM40: Compatible only with 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm, and 1.2 ohm GTX coils.

Incompatible Devices (NO):

• Vaporesso GTi Devices: Does not fit the Target 100/200, Gen 200, or Armour Series (these require the larger GTi coils).
• Vaporesso XROS Series: Uses fully integrated, non-removable pod architectures.
• Vaporesso Eco Nano Series: Uses integrated, non-removable pod architectures.

Pro Tip: Check your device's maximum wattage output before purchasing the 0.3 ohm coil. The 0.3 ohm coil requires between 32W and 45W to function properly. If you put it into a device that maxes out at 40W (like the Luxe PM40 or GTX GO 40), it will drain your battery rapidly and result in poor vapor production and frequent flooding.

Resistance Profile

• 0.3 ohm Meshed Coil (32W - 45W, Best at 40W): Optimized for Direct-to-Lung (DTL) vaping. Features a wide central airflow to produce massive vapor clouds and rapid heating. Strictly recommended for standard freebase e-liquids (0mg - 6mg).
• 0.8 ohm Meshed Coil (12W - 20W, Best at 18W): Calibrated for Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct-Lung (RDL) vaping. Offers a tighter draw and cooler vapor output. Highly versatile, working well with both standard freebase e-liquids and nicotine salts.

Usage & Maintenance

To install, simply align the coil with the opening at the base of your compatible pod or tank and push it firmly into place. Ensure the base of the coil sits completely flush to engage the triple-silicone O-rings and prevent e-liquid from leaking into the device's battery compartment. Coils should be replaced when vapor production drops, the draw feels obstructed, or the e-liquid begins to taste burnt.

Important: Always prime a new coil before firing. After pressing the new coil into the pod and filling it with e-liquid, let the device sit for 5 to 10 minutes. This allows the dense flax cotton to fully saturate and prevents premature burning of the mesh element.
